Selborne Golf Estate

The Selborne Hotel, Spa & Golf Estate offers the comforts of a cosmopolitan estate as well as high standards and exclusivity. The hotel is situated under an hours drive South of the Durban City centre. The estate features a magnificent manor house surrounded by subtropical gardens and a private beach club that is located a few steps away from the beach. There is a coastal forest located near the estate making the estate home to duiker, mongoose, bushbuck and over 160 species of birds.

The Selborne Hotel room types consist of Standard Luxury Suites, Luxury Garden Suite, Golf Course Suite and Presidential Suite.

Private Beach Club:

This beach club is situated right next to the beach and has a swimming pool, changing rooms and cafe that serves snacks and light meals.

Golf course:

Mr Denis Barker, a well known local sugar farmer and dairy farmer purchased Selborne Park in 1979 and in 1985 he decided to build a golf course in the park. The golf course has been voted 7th best in SA in its 3rd year. Our members competitions are on a Thursday & Saturday and we will therefore run off two tees on those days.
The estate also features a Pro shop, a golfing academy for beginners and golf lessons.

Spa:

The spa at Selborne offers a range of spa treatments that will rest, relax and revitalize you. There is a double therapy suite for couples treatments as well as single treatment rooms.
