Children at Zimbali Resort

Spend your days enjoying your holiday instead of wondering where your children are or if there is enough for them to do safely.
Everything from water slides, swimming pools, sports facilities and kids clubs are there to keep children entertained and busy.

The Kids Club is only available to Zimbali resort hotel visitors and there are still lots of Jungle gyms and trampolines to provide hours of entertainment.

Kid’s Club

Y-Univers Kids Club

Y-Univers Kids Club is a fun, interactive social club situated at the Fairmont Beach Club for children between the ages of 5 to 12.
Children under 5 are welcome but have to be accompanied by an adult (parent or babysitter). Babysitters are available for hire. Please arrange with the Concierge before arrival to hire a babysitter if your child is under the age of 5. The Concierge will also assist you in booking your children in at Y-Univers.

Children registered at the club will be under constant supervision of professionally trained staff. Staff are on hand to ensure the utmost safety and security of your children.
During their visit to the club, children will be involved in a myriad of activities including indoor and outdoor games, crafts, sports, swimming and storytelling enabling parents to enjoy a relaxing break and children to enjoy a full, action packed day.
In addition to the many fun indoor and outdoor games available, children will also learn about the different animals that live on the property as well as the conservation of animal life. The children will be exposed to traditional South African games, crafts, music and dancing.

Children can have their lunch at Y-Univers, with food ordered from the exciting Y-Univers kids menu.

Activities

For children wanting to enjoy some sports on holiday, the aspiring soccer stars have a great field to practice their skill ons. There’s also a play area, cricket nets and basketball nets for the entire family to enjoy!
Zimbali has a total of 6 floodlit tennis courts, 2 are located next to the country club and the other 4 by the Bush Buck Club next to the Bush Buck retreat and kid’s play area.

For those children who might be looking to follow in their parents golf shoes, there is no better place than Zimbali for Junior Golfers. This world class, Tom Weiskopf designed 18 hole golf course includes a driving range and putting greens. The Pro shop will be able to book junior golf lessons.

Accommodation

Sleeper beds and baby cots are available on request at an additional charge; please enquire upon booking with your consultant
A limited number of entry level connecting rooms are available. Please enquire when making your reservation. Some of our suite category rooms do have sleeper couches, which are suitable for older children.
