Zimbali Directions from Durban ( Along M4 )

• Easiest way is to drive towards the beach and when you get there - turn left!
• Drive North with the sea on your right hand side. Follow signs to the M4 then take the M4 North towards Umhlanga/ Stanger.
• Approximately 30 minutes from Durban after going past Umhlanga, Umdloti, La Mercy and Westbrook you will reach the Zimbali Esate.
• Zimbali Resort: Zimbali South Gate Entrance: Shortly after the Tongaat Bridge you will reach the South Gate traffic circle sign-posted “Zimbali Estate Southgate”. Leave at the 3rd exit.
• Zimbali Lodge/ Self Catering: Zimbali North Gate Entrance and ZEMA Welcome Centre / ZEMA Office: Continue on the M4 for approximately 2km until you reach the next traffic circle sign-posted “Zimbali Estate Northgate”.
  Take the 2nd exit and travel about 200m through the brown-stone pillars and onto narrow, paved road. The ZEMA Welcome Centre and ZEMA Office are located on your right, before the North Gate security entance.

Zimbali Directions from Joburg and Durban via the N2

• Take the N2 North toll road towards Stanger and Richards Bay.
• Approximately 45 km from Durban / 5 km from King Shaka International Airport you will reach the Tongaat Toll Plaza. (To avoid the Toll you will need to leave the N2 at Umdloti and join up with the M4 )
• About 6 km after the tollgate, take the Ballito/Compensation off-ramp.
• Turn right at the top of the off-ramp towards Ballito
• At the second traffic circle, just after Lifestyle Shopping Centre on right and The Junction Shopping Centre on left, take the 3rd exit onto M4 (as if you were going back towards Durban).
• Travel south (towards Durban) for just over half a km.
• You will reach a traffic circle sign-posted “Zimbali Estate Northgate”, take the 1st exit.
• Zimbali Lodge/ Self Catering: Zimbali North Gate Entrance and ZEMA Welcome Centre / ZEMA Office: Continue on the M4 for approximately 2km until you reach the next traffic circle sign-posted “Zimbali Estate Northgate”.

Zimbali Directions from King Shaka International Airport (KSIA) via the N2

• From the airport, turn left and head east on Mdloti St. (D144).
• Take the off-ramp onto the outer ring road (N2 North Coast) and continue north towards Stanger.
• Approximately 5 km from King Shaka International Airport you will reach the Tongaat Toll Plaza.
• About 6 km after the tollgate, take the Ballito/Compensation off-ramp.
• Turn right at the top of the off-ramp towards Ballito
